  • A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. We offer comfort techniques, help you navigate your birth plan, and provide guidance in your decision-making, ensuring you feel supported and empowered every step of the way.

  • Absolutely! Whether you’re planning a hospital birth, home birth, or birthing center, a doula can offer valuable support in any setting. We work alongside your medical team to ensure your needs are met, advocating for your birth preferences and providing continuous emotional and physical care.

  • It’s ideal to hire a doula early in your pregnancy, as we can assist with prenatal planning, provide early education, and build a trusting relationship. However, it’s never too late to seek support—if you’re closer to your due date, we’d still be honored to work with you!

  • Postpartum doula visits focus on your recovery and adjusting to life with your newborn. We provide breastfeeding support, newborn care guidance, help with light household tasks, and offer emotional support to ensure you feel confident and rested as you transition into parenthood.

  • While midwives and nurses provide medical care and assist with the birth itself, a doula’s role is focused on emotional and physical support. We work with you to ensure your comfort, advocate for your choices, and offer reassurance throughout the process, complementing the care provided by your medical team.
